How We Got Our Start

Since graduating with their physical therapy degrees in the early 90s,

Laurie and Lance have seen many changes in the healthcare system.  

Some of these changes have been excellent and needed; however, it is

well known that the personal aspect has changed.  Over the last several

years, we have felt the pressure to see multiple people at once,

decrease treatment time and more control by insurance companies.  

As a result, patients get less and less one on one time with their therapist.  

Often being forced. to see multiple therapists during the course of

treatment or having treatment time cut short by visit limits.  This can

cause confusion and frustration regarding your care and

delay in recovery time.

 

​Whorton Therapy was born out of our belief that there is a better option.
