Your journey will start with a discovery call with your physical therapist. During this informal conversation, we will learn about your family, your baby and your concerns. An in-home consultation will be scheduled to evaluate your baby's specific needs.

How do I get started?

What is a treatment session like?

Each session lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. Laurie will evaluate your baby's head shape, range of motion and gross motor skills. She will teach you positions to prevent a flat head, exercises to keep your baby's neck moving, toy options and gross motor skills. The sessions are centered around your family and your baby's needs. They are tailored to your specific concerns.

Do you take my insurance?

In order to give you the best treatment possible, Whorton Therapy is not in network with any insurance plans. Many people are able to recover between 50 and 80% of the cost through their non-network benefits. We find that our patients receive the best care and often pay less than using traditional insurance based services.

What is this going to cost me?

Your treatment plan is specific to your particular diagnosis. If you are appropriate for our clinic, you will receive an upfront cost with no hidden fees during the free discovery call.

Do I need a physician referral to start?

Because Florida is a direct access state, you do not need a physician referral to begin treatment. Just schedule a call and we'll get started!
