Your journey begins with a discovery call with Dr. Laurie, where we take the time to learn about your family, your baby, and your specific concerns. During this informal conversation, we’ll discuss your child’s unique needs and set up an evaluation to develop a personalized care plan.
Each session lasts about 45-60 minutes and is carefully tailored to your baby’s individual needs. Dr. Laurie will assess your baby’s head shape, range of motion, developmental milestones, and gross motor skills. You’ll also receive hands-on guidance on positioning to prevent flat head syndrome, exercises to promote neck mobility, and age-appropriate toy recommendations to support motor development. These sessions are designed to be collaborative, family-centered, and focused on helping your baby thrive.
Whorton Therapy is an out-of-network provider, allowing us to deliver highly personalized care without the constraints of insurance limitations. Many families can recover between 50% and 80% of their costs through their out-of-network benefits, often finding this approach to be more cost-effective and impactful than traditional, insurance-based therapy.
Your treatment plan is personalized to your baby’s specific needs, and we believe in full transparency when it comes to costs. During your free discovery call, we’ll provide a clear, upfront estimate with no hidden fees, so you know exactly what to expect.
No referral is needed! Florida is a direct access state, which means you can start your baby’s therapy journey without a physician referral. Simply schedule a call, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
