FLAT HEAD
SYNDROME

Babies are prone to getting a flat head if they are not given adequate position changes or tummy time.  Many babies dislike tummy time due to sleeping on their backs.  They may require specialized activities to tolerate tummy time.  Dr. Laurie has taken specialized classes to work with babies that have a flat head.  She can also address Torticollis (tight neck muscle) that can result in a flat head in some infants.
